Acute Pain

Each person has a different level of pain tolerance. Some may have a higher threshold than others, but regardless, we recognize when our body feels out of the ordinary. Depending on how a person injures his or herself, the acute pain will start suddenly and usually feels sharp. Acute pain may be mild and last just a moment, but when acute pain lasts longer than a month, Dr. Loren Morgan encourages you to explore your treatment options.

If you have pain that is present in your shoulders, neck, upper back, lower back, or even in the legs and hips, Dr. Loren Morgan has a method to treat these problem areas. Once acute pain has been eliminated, the patient may carry on with their days like nothing is wrong. However, if the pain lasts more than seven days, it risks becoming chronic. If the pain is hindering your daily activities, don’t let it go untreated.
